High-resolution geophysical equipment in Fontenille, France

 

The Deutsches Archäologisches Institut (coordinated by Dr. Friedrich Lüth) in partnership with the University of Toulouse (coordinated by Dr. Vincent Art) is developing an archaeological survey in Fontenille e Tusson, region of Bordeaux, France.

 

The research employs a geophysical equipment of high-resolution, covering an area of tens of hectares per day and providing high-definition subsoil mappings to megalithic tombs or Iron Age structures.
