XIX World Congress of the UISPP

Yesterday the XIX World Congress of the UISPP began, and we already had the first session organized by the Scientific Commission "Archaeological Heritage Policies and Management Structures", which I preside.

The session, focused on conservation of Archaeological Sites and Cultural Landscapes, was attended by colleagues from Mozambique, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Sweden and Brazil.

I highlight the initiative to create a National Park in Mozambique, nvolving local community in its archaeological and intangible heritage management, located in Chongoene and Xai Xai coastal zones. Very proud to also participate in this initiative!
